Jon, Jess, Payton, Maddux and Barkley all live in Meridian, ID. We have lived here close to 7 years and love the area. Payton was born in late July and changed our family forever(in a good way). The dogs have adjusted well to Payton, but both certainly have their quirks. One dog loves Payton(Barkley, while the other isn’t so sure(Maddux). Either way, they have been great to her and we love having all our kids as part of this family.
I work in the federal government, and Jess works as a 2nd grade teacher for Meridian School District. Both Maddux and Barkley are still pursuing work, but their primary focus is biochemical engineering. Payton felt narrowing her choices of schools down early was important, thus the University of Washington is the only school she’s considering.
What a beautiful family blog. It’s such a personal invitation to the most wonderful events of your life. Grandma Faith is coming over tomorrow morning for coffee. Midst all the dust, fresh paint, and plaster we will enjoy these precious moments you have so generously shared. Thank you.
